Skincare Ingredients for City Girls

Skincare Ingredients for City Girls

Okay, we don't mean THAT kind of city girl (although no judgement here), but those of you that live in a city ;)

You know what it's like- fresh air is not a thing, the water is usually hard, hours spent on public transport. Your skin can feel it. Here's some of our favourite ingredients to help with the side effects of living in a city.

Looking for a multipurpose product that contains all of these ingredients? Click here to be the first to know about our NEW Product launch :)

1. Goji Berry

Some of you might enjoy them as a healthy snack (we're not judging, don't worry), but Goji Berries have a bunch of benefits for your skin too! They’re packed with tons of different types of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. This means that they're great at helping your skin fight environmental damage and protect against UV rays.

2. Alpha Arbutin

The environment you live in can worsen hyperpigmentation. Alpha Arbutin is one of the ingredients that help fade discolouration caused by environmental stressors. It also helps to reduce free radicals and make your skin more elastic.

3. Bakuchiol

An alternative to retinol, Bakuchiol is slowly taking over. It has less side effects than retinol and can be used by those who find retinol to be too harsh. It's an antioxidant that helps fight against free-radical damage, which we all experience while in the city. This means the breaking down of collagen, resulting in wrinkles, breakouts and saggy skin.

This is your new best friend, especially if you use a lot of public transport!

4. Kakadu Plum

Kakadu Plum has the highest natural level of Vitamin C, 100 times more than that of orange. This means it's a great antioxidant. It helps with ageing, brightens the skin and helps with skin elasticity.

Antioxidants are highly recommended by dermatologists to anyone over the age of 30 for more supple, brighter complexion.

We've created a product that combines all of these and more to help you fight hyperpigmentation and keep your moisture barrier intact. Click here to learn more.
