We have created a list of 10 products you need to try in 2023!
1. Byoma Moisturising Gel Cream
This gel cream contains ceramides, niacinamide and green tea. It helps to soothe the skin and repair any damage caused by over-exfoliation. Great to keep your skin moisturised and healthy without heaviness!
2. Topicals Faded
You know her, you love her, she is your go-to for dark spots. Although you might be put off by the scent, it does show that this product was made with hyperpigmentation in mind- it contains kojic acid, melatonin, azelaic acid, niacinamide and centella. It's soothing, repairing and brightening. She's an icon here at Rich Skxn!
3. Passionfruit Hyperpigmentation Soap
Not only is this one of Abi's favourites- it's one of yours too! Our community loves this product- it helps with dark spots and acne, can be used on the face and body AND a little goes a long way. 2023 is all about indulgence and investing in yourself- so don't mind us saving some coin and letting the fruity soap do all the hard work for us!
4. Versed Dew Point Gel Cream
This is for our babes on the oilier skin side! Super lightweight hydration and protection against environmental damage- perfect for those warmer months in the city or a trip abroad!
Soothing aloe leaf juice and hydrating glycerin for a healthy barrier without the heaviness.
5. Biore Watery Essence SPF50
If you're new to Rich Skxn, there is one thing you can trust- our SPF recommendations will NOT leave you with a white cast. This lightweight SPF is no different. Although lightly fragranced, it's suitable for all skin types and offers high UV protection. We are NOT skipping SPF even in the winter!
6. CeraVe SA cleanser
A hydrating, exfoliating cleanser for rough skin. It contains 0.5% salicylic acid, which makes it suitable even for dry skin. A great cleanser to use a few times per week to keep your pores from clogging up and gently exfoliating.
Top tip: Use this on your body along with the SA smoothing cream if you have Keratosis Pilaris or strawberry legs ;)
7. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
If your skin ever needs a little pick-me-up, this is the perfect product. Fragrance free, with glycerin and niacinamide (you may start to notice a pattern here), this super hydrating mask is perfect for just about anything. Dry hands? Jet lag mask. On a plane? Jet lag mask. Skin feeling dry in the winter? You get the idea ;)
8. Goji Berry Beauty Balm
This list would not be complete without the brand new Goji Berry Balm. A 3in1 balm, with brightening and hydrating ingredients. 9. Paula's Choice 2% BHA Exfoliant
If you have oily or acne-prone skin and you haven't tried this yet- what are you waiting for? This leave-on exfoliant is formulated with 2% Salicylic Acid, which helps to exfoliate dead skin cells and helps prevent blackheads and breakouts.
10. Cosrx Advanced Snail Mucin
At the end of 2022 people started to claim that this product helped with their hyperpigmentation. Although the snail mucin essence does not actually brighten the skin or helps get rid of pigment, it provides deep hydration, which aids in the healing process of the skin. Great for all skin types, it's a staple in our skincare cabinet!
These products have been tried by almost everyone and their Mum, so you know they work for different skin types. Remember- skincare is not one size fits all, so don't be discouraged if you don't see the same results as someone else!
